Computers


Word processing, keyboarding, multimedia, Internet, problem solving, using databases and simulations, and graphics are major components of the informational technologies program, which is an integral part of the K-6 curriculum. Students will work both in the lab and in the classroom on integrated projects as well as acquiring and reinforcing basic skills.

Welcome to the Computer Room at JAIS	We like to have display work from each grade up on our bulletin board.
Fifth and Sixth graders researched for a project.	First and Second graders also used the computer lab to research about bats.
Kindergarteners drew pictures in KidPix.	Grades 1 and 2 used KidPix to make Rosh HaShana cards to take home to their parents.
Grades 3 and 4 used Microsoft Word to write a quick paragraph about themselves. They then added background to make it more colorful.	Grades 5 and 6 used Microsoft Word to create cards about themselves.  Inside the card they wrote a small paragraph about themselves.
