Music

In the music program children are taught the basic musical concepts and skills providing them with an enriching means of self-expression. Through singing, movement and integrated listening activities which include music history and appreciation, students receive a diverse and well-rounded music experience at all grade levels, as well as opportunities to perform. The students begin to learn the recorder in third grade.
