Welcome to the Jerusalem American International School (JAIS).
At JAIS, we are dedicated to the success of each student. A school is more than a collection of classrooms located on the same site. An effective school is a community of learners, working together to develop each individual to his fullest potential. These learners are parents, teachers, administrators, and of course, students. JAIS is that kind of community. Our small classes, supportive staff, and special services illustrate the emphasis on a personalized education for each student.
Each school year, we welcome approximately 50 new students to the JAIS community. We are proud of the friendly, yet purposeful, learning environment we have created. JAIS operates on a year-round rolling Admissions Policy. There is no deadline for new student applications. Students who apply during the current school year may be admitted throughout the year, depending on space available.
The admission documents contain all the information needed to apply to JAIS. Please familiarize yourself with this information, and use the admissions checklist to make sure your application is complete.

JAIS welcomes applications from students of all nationalities and backgrounds. Students applying for admission shall be considered on an individual basis.
