Application Process

Contact JAIS. 
Email admissions@jerusalemais.org to let JAIS know of your interest in applying and to ask any questions you may have. If you are in the country you are welcome to arrange to visit the school and tour our campus. If you are not able to come to campus, we can arrange a virtual visit and begin making some ZOOM connections.

JAIS has a online registration that needs to be completed. Go to the admissions checklist to understand what information will be needed for this registration. If there are any additional forms or information* to be submitted, please bring those to our office or send to admissions@jerusalemais.org .

*If applicable, please provide a Psycho-Educational Evaluation and IEP.

Payment of deposit for registration fees/tuition in cash, or by check payable to: WALWORTH BARBOUR AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (or “WBAIS.”). A deposit is required along with the completed online application form. Credit card payments can also be made over the phone or in the JAIS office.

Admission Discovery Process: This will involve an interview for us to get to know your child/ family.  When you arrive, there will be a baseline/ placement process where we can gather more information in an age-appropriate manner.  This will help us to learn more about your children and to give them the best possible start and support in their new school.  

After completing the Online Application Form and before a student starts at JAIS, additional  information will need to be completed or submitted:

• a copy of the applicant’s passport & entry ticket
• report cards (kindergarten-grade 9) for the previous 2 academic years
• recommendation forms
• copy of the immunization record
