Tom graduated from Hamilton College with a bachelor’s degree in government and a minor in English. He also earned master’s degrees from Columbia University’s School of International Affairs and from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. Over the course of his career, he has taught middle and high school humanities and English in Massachusetts, Shanghai, New Jersey, Belgium, and Vermont, as well as our sister campus in Even Yehuda.  Before coming to the Middle East, he served as a senior administrator at the 800-student American College of Sofia in Bulgaria. He also worked for 10 years as a professional journalist, covering education for the St. Petersburg Times in Florida and freelancing for outlets including the Associated Press, New York Times, and NBC News. Tom loves great writing and is excited to be helping inspire students and teachers on our two campuses.
