Florence Menashy is from Los Angeles, California. She has an M.A. in Special Education and a B.A. in Liberal Studies from California State University Northridge.

Before ​moving to Jerusalem​, she was a special education teacher and worked with children with autism and other disabilities.She is happy to be working with the first grade students at JAIS this year!​
