Applying to JAIS is a five-step process. Admission to JAIS is not automatic. Click here to review our Admissions Policy. The school is not able to consider your child’s application until your file is complete.

Step 1: Contact JAIS. Click here (or email firstname.lastname@example.org ) to let JAIS know of your interest in applying and to ask any questions you may have. If you are in Israel, you are welcome to visit the school, to take a tour, and to have an informational/fact-finding meeting.
Step 2: Complete all Application Forms.
Return all forms to our office:
If applicable, please provide a Psycho-Educational Evaluation and IEP.
Step 3: Payment of Deposit for registration fees in cash, or by check payable to: WALWORTH BARBOUR AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (or “WBAIS.”). A deposit is required along with the application forms. Credit card payments can also be made over the phone or in the JAIS office.
Step 4: Admission Screening: Interview and Placement Testing. All families meet with the school administration and other appropriate personnel for an initial interview and placement testing.
Step 5: Completing the Application File. Students may not start school without the completion and submission of the following forms:
- a copy of the applicant’s passport & entry ticket
- report cards (preschool-grade 8) for the previous 2 academic years, or transcripts for all years of high school (only for high school students applying for 2016-2017)
- recommendation forms
- copy of immunization record
