Leah holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine with a triple major in English, Spanish, and Global Cultures. She has taken Master’s coursework in General Education grades 1-6 through Fordham University in Manhattan, NY and earned her M.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College on their Vermont and Madrid, Spain campuses. Leah has many years teaching experience across grades K – 12. She has served as a U.S. State Department Fulbright Teaching Assistant to grades 6-12 in Madrid, Spain. She taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade Special Education in the Bronx and Brooklyn, NY through Teach For America. Recently, she taught high school Spanish in Jerusalem. She is delighted to be teaching at JAIS this fall!
