Student Leadership

As a small school, our Middle school are familiar faces to our younger students and are well positioned to take on leadership roles at relatively early ages. There is a leadership class each week, where students learn about the responsibilities and skills required in leadership, any of which are linked to our JAIS Learner Profile. They also collaborate to plan events and activities, putting these skills into proactive,  running or assisting in the planning and delivery of  school-wide projects such as spirit week, sports day and Book week.  Many of the students' leadership activities are embedded in our mission of Building Bridges across Jerusalem and Environmental service projects.

Our Grade 7-9 students are connected with the Hand in Hand bilingual Hebrew / Arabic school in Jerusalem.  They worked together to present at a Model United Nations conference this spring.
