The JAIS Secondary Student Council is an integral part of the Secondary School.  With representatives from every grade level, the Student Council encourages students to share ideas, interests and concerns with the school administration.

The Student Council sponsors many wonderful activities from JAIS Secondary Spirit Days to parties and community service projects.  Each year the JAIS Secondary student council hosts a jog-a-thon to raise money for humanitarian causes.  Recipients of past funding include:  A Child’s Right, The Children of Haiti Project, and The Otuchi School in Japan.

The JAIS Secondary Student Council meets under the supervision of faculty sponsors.  The representatives share ideas, make decisions, and diligently report to their classroom peers.  Students who participate in Student Council experience the rewards of service work and learn that the actions of a few can make a difference for many.
