Simon worked for 5 years in the British Parliament and for a number of years in UK schools, specializing in Politics, Humanities and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education). He has written a book on the history of girls’ education in England. He has a BA degree in Politics from the University of Leeds and an MA in the Politics, History and Economics of South Asia from the University of London. He worked as a substitute teacher at JAIS during the 2015-2016 school year and joined the JAIS faculty August 2016 as our middle school humanities and high school English teacher.
