DanaDana is an honor’s graduate of New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education where she earned a BS in foreign language education. Following graduation, she was hired by the Harrison, NY Central School District, teaching Spanish at both high school and middle school levels and quickly taking a leadership role in developing a spiraling K-12 Spanish curriculum while earning her Masters in literacy education at Pace University. She is trained in the International Baccalaureate program and holds New York State Spanish teaching certification for grades 7-12 with the Flex extension for grades K-6. She strongly believes in integrating cultural content in her classroom teaching and has extensively travelled to Latin speaking countries to be able to infuse her first-hand experiences.
